Q. I want the best price. Does Window Wares have
the lowest price?
A. Instead of selling cheap blinds at the lowest price, we try to provide the best
value. When making a direct comparison of quality Hunter Douglas blinds, shades and shutters, we are
lower. A "quality" $100 blind which will last 20 years or more
is a better value than a "cheap" non-repairable $70 "budget blind" which may only
last 3 or 4 years.
Q. How does Window Wares keep it's prices so low?
A. Window Wares is a "Gallery"
dealer with Hunter Douglas. We are the only authorized Hunter Douglas Gallery showroom in Snohomish county and one of only a handfull in Washington state.
Q. What about free shop at home?
A. Shop at home sales personnel are paid by commission.
This can add an additional 15-20% to the cost of your order when
you purchase by free shop at home. At Window Wares we can provide the same level of service without adding sales commissions into the price of the blinds. The shop at home "dog and pony show" cannot display the hundreds of product configurations available displayed in our Gallery showroom. We do not use commissioned decorators or sales personel.
Q. How does Window Wares provide this service?
A. We provide a free measure and color consultation with a product technician
in our trading area with purchase. This may require a visit to our
showroom to examine working models of all out products. Rough measurements
of your windows can be brought in so we can provide an estimate
for the product selections you are considering. Final measurements
will be provided by our product technician.
Q. What is a product technician.
A. Our product technician combines the technical knowledge of an
installer and the product knowledge of a decorator
to help provide the solutions for: product selection, placement,
pricing, function, insulation, color, options, or any other questions
you may have. Our product technician, Gary, has over thirty five years experience
in the window coverings field.
Q. Who should install my blinds?
A. We can provide installation and advice for the do-it-yourself er,
as every situation is different All self installed products must be returned to our store for service if needed.
If we provide installation, we will service the product in your
home for six months after installation within our trading area or one (1) year for Silhouette, Luminette, Vignette, Allouette. and all Allustra blinds and shades. Home Depot and Lowes provide none of this service.
